Nursery Admission Process & timelines for the School Year 2023-24

Stages	Process	Timelines	Remarks
Stage – I	Online Registration Process	August 2022	Registration dates will be announced through the School website and Shikshantar Facebook page along with Advertisements in TOI and Hindustan Times.
Stage – II	‘School Introduction’ Session	To be scheduled from the 3rd day of the start of Registration.	The schedule will be communicated on the email IDs registered with the school. It will be a three-hour process. The presence of both parents is mandatory.
Stage – III	‘Draw of Lots’	August 2022	Parents who attend the ‘School Introduction Session’ qualify for Stage III. Communication will be sent via email. The presence of one parent is mandatory for the ‘Draw’.
Stage – IV	Fee submission	Within three working days of ‘Draw of lots’	Online fee payment
Stage - V	Documents submission and ‘Self Reflection’ session.	Within a week of ‘Fee submission’	Self-reflection - It will be a two-hour process on the school premises. The presence of both parents is mandatory. Document Submission - Please refer to the below list of mandatory items/ documents required to be submitted at the time of Admission.

Stage – II	‘School Introduction’ Session	September	The schedule will be communicated on the email IDs registered with the school. It will be a three-hour process. The presence of both parents is mandatory. Parents ‘must’ attend the ‘School Introduction Session’ to qualify for Stage III.
Stage – III	Self-reflection form	September/ October	It will be a two-hour process on the school premises. The presence of both parents will be mandatory. The schedule will be shared one week in advance via email.
Stage – IV	Parent Interaction	September/ October	Parent Interaction will be scheduled with the senior team member of the School. The schedule will be shared one week in advance via email.
Stage – V	Fee submission & Admission formalities	Within three working days of admission confirmation mail received by parents	Document Submission - Please refer to the below list of mandatory items/ documents required to be submitted at the time of Admission.

KG - VIII Admission Process & timelines for the School Year 2023-24

Stage – III	Child Interaction Session	Within a week of Stage II	Parents who attend the ‘School Introduction Session’ qualify for Stage III. Communication for this shall be sent via email.
Stage – IV	Parents Interaction Session	Within a week of Stage III	One to one interaction of parents with Academic Head/Curriculum Coordinator, if the applicant qualifies stage III
Stage – V	Admission formalities	Within three working days of admission confirmation mail received by parents	Please refer to the below list of Mandatory items/ documents required to be submitted at the time of Admission.

Stage – III	'School Introduction'Child Interaction' & Self-Reflection' session	Within a week of Stage II	The schedule will be communicated on the email IDs registered with the school. It will be a three-hour process.
Stage – IV	Parents & Child Interaction session	Within a week of Stage III	One to one interaction of parents and child with the Academic Head & curriculum coordinator, if the applicant qualifies stage III

List of documents/items required at the time of Admissions

Purpose	Items/documents to be submitted
Photographs ( For school ID cards & School records )	5 recent passport-size photographs of both parents. 8 recent passport-size photographs of the Child.
Proof of Age of the Child	Birth Certificate with Child’s name or copy of Passport (whichever is available). Class X Board Marksheetin case a child has applied for Classes XI-XII.
Residence Proof of either parent (Any 2 documents from the list )	Utility Bills/ Aadhar Card/ Ration card / Passport/ Telephone bill (Landline only) /Lease or Rent agreement.
Photo ID proof	Photocopy of Aadhar card / Passport – Child & both parents
Original transfer Certificate (For admission in class I upwards)	It can be submitted before the child joins the new School session
In the case of separation/divorce/ adoption / single parent	Supporting Legal documents
In the case of a sibling Admission	A copy of the sibling’s Shikshantar ID card
