Republic Day celebration 2023-2024

The young children of Pre Primary block made their connections with the essence of Republic Day through an understanding of ‘agreements’, ‘rules’ and their significance in helping all of us live together happily. The project experiences helped them arrive at ‘things they will keep in mind’ to better enjoy their time in school. Children always welcome opportunities to wave India’s flag and sing their favorite songs related to our country. The celebration of Republic Day in the school premises, on Monday 29th January ‘24, was no different. There was anticipation in the air when they saw floral rangoli around the flagpole with the tricolour tied to it. “इसमें से flag कब निकलेगा?”, “I am waiting because flowers will come down when the flag opens”. They all enthusiastically cheered when the flag was hoisted and merrily marched to the song ‘नन्हा मुन्ना राही हूँ’. Later, sweet बूंदी was relished by them.
