The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination at the end of Class X requires students to enter for 6 subjects and Socially Useful Productive Work. In accordance with the Council guidelines, the students are registered for the chosen subjects in Class IX. They continue to study these six subjects through Classes IX and X. The subjects facilitated in Shikshantar for the examination at the end of Class X are listed below –

Young adulthood, between 15 and 18 years of age, is a period of churning, questioning and intense search for purpose and challenge. It is a time that lays the foundation for the development of a personal and potential professional identity. Shikshantar visualizes this period of transition from childhood to adulthood as one that requires sensitive thinking and engagement. To create opportunities for a wide variety of career-oriented paths, Shikshantar offers a range of subjects and streams for students to choose for the Indian School Certificate Examination conducted at the end of Class XII. Students go through self-reflection exercises and counseling to choose subjects and careers on the basis of their aptitude and interests.

Students are required to pursue 5 subjects and Socially Useful Productive Work for ISC Examination. The registration for the subjects is carried out in Class XI. The subjects facilitated in Shikshantar presently include:
