ASISC - Literary Event

The new academic year began with the students participating in four major literary events organized by ASISC (Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate) at the zonal level.

Our students Kanisha of Class IX and Arya Pandey of Class XII represented Shikshantar at the Delhi-NCR Zone in the junior and senior category respectively for the ASISC Fr. Hess Memorial level Creative Writing Event, which was held recently, at Shikshantar. Nimrat Kaur of Class VIII also represented the school in the sub-junior category with her newness of thoughts. We are happy to share that both of our students in the junior and senior category secured silver medals.

Additionally, our students represented Shikshantar in the Delhi-NCR Zone for the ASISC Fr. Hess Memorial level Quiz Event held at Lord Jesus School, Gurgaon. All of them secured gold medals in all three categories. Udit Agarwal and Aarav Sinha in the Senior Team, Kshipra Anuva Rajan and Ayaan Ahsaan in the Junior Team and Aanvi Ram and Ira Sharma in the Sub-Junior category.

In yet another event, our students Shaurya Tripathi of Class XII and Annika Mithani of Class X represented Shikshantar in the ASISC Fr. Hess Memorial level Declamation Event for Delhi-NCR Zone in the senior and junior category respectively held at The Scottish High School, Gurgaon. Both our students came back with a bag full of experience and bronze medals. Yashusvee Talreja of Class VIII also represented zestfully in the sub-junior category.

Our students Samaira Angurala of Class XI and Aanya Bhardwaj of Class XII represented Shikshantar at the Delhi-NCR Zone for the ASISC Fr. Hess Memorial level Debate Event held at Matrikiran School, Gurgaon. Both of them secured Bronze medals in the senior category. Avni Verma of Class X and Akshat Mishra of Class X also represented in the junior category.

Quizzing gold medalists are now looking forward to participating in the regional literary events as the next level in the ASISC to be held in September 2025.
