Hamara Manch 2025-26 - Pre Primary
At Shikshantar, every child is like a tiny seed, curious, full of wonder and ready to sprout in their own
beautiful way. This year’s Hamara Manch celebrates these growing journeys of friendships, songs,
stories, discoveries, and joyful learning. On Saturday 21st February 2026, the mound in ‘Nandanam’
came alive with children’s presentations. The whole space wore a festive look, decorated with
children’s artwork - colorful buntings, scrolls and backdrops.
Festivities brought Krishna alive in Raindrops. Through songs and stories, children felt close to Kanha
as their friend. Remembering their favourite moments, they decided to prepare for Hamara Manch
with Krishna’s flute, filling the air with music, laughter, and togetherness.
In Dewdrops, memories swim like fish, sway with the green grass on dancing wings and stories that
touch the sky. Children chose their favourite experiences and joyfully planned to sing, run and dance
together, celebrating their journey.
From their ‘छुक छुक ट्रेन’ mornings to becoming Rat-a-tat cats, Oss group songs became bridges of
friendship. For Hamara Manch, they arrive just as they do every day, singing, moving and sharing
happiness as one group.
Through seasons, bus rides, festivals and ‘जंगल के दोस्त’, Boond children didn’t just hear stories; they
became the characters! Hopping like rabbits, stomping like elephants and jumping like monkeys.
Stepping into the imaginative world, their stage blooms with expression and play.
Listening to tales of ‘माखन चोर’, children of Vayu found a playful friend in ‘कान्हा’. Through songs, role
play, and laughter, their bond deepened, hiding, seeking, and celebrating together.
From ‘Tiny Tim Turtle’ to trees and tiny seeds, Anila explored nature with curiosity. Discovering how a
seed becomes a plant, they built a special relationship with the world around them, observing,
planting and wondering.
Numbers became friends through songs, number trains and living number lines. With excitement,
Purvayi chose to celebrate their joyful bond with numbers on Hamara Manch. Humour and storytelling
brought Pawan closer. From playful songs to self-created enactments, children discovered the joy of
performing together presenting their story ‘आसमान गि रा’ with laughter and confidence.
Little hands of Avani explored ‘ढपली’, ‘खरताल’ and shakers, discovering rhythm, tempo and melody.
Their curiosity turned into a symphony of sound where harmony blossomed naturally. Melodies of
India with songs in many languages filled their days. Curious to know more, children of Dhara chose to
celebrate India’s diversity through music, movement and shared rhythms.
New themes sparked excitement from stories to role play. Revisiting their year’s experiences,
Vasundhara children chose ‘Goat’s Coat,’ choosing their roles, creating their own dialogues and
stepping confidently to share their experience with their family and friends.
From underwater adventures with Oswald to twisting mazes with Incy, Bhoomi blended imagination
and creativity. Crafting their own story, songs and poems, they created a world where fun truly never
ends.
Gradually building comfort and connection, Ardhi found strength in songs and storytelling. ‘गीत का
कमाल’ inspired them to weave dialogues, movements, and expressions, a collective effort of children
and didis coming together woven into a memorable experience of Hamara Manch to last in their
memories.
The day was a heartening experience for the children’s families as they watched the little ones glow
with pride in their efforts.
