Circle Time - Our New Spaces
Stepping into a newly constructed classroom is more than just moving into a different physical space, it is about breathing life and the collective spirit of the children. To mark this beautiful transition, our children recently gathered in their new class groups for a special Circle Time- a sacred pause to weave their combined positive oorja into the very fabric of their new learning environment.
The experience began with a comforting collection of energies for the children. Looking inward, they took a silent moment of deep gratitude to the five elements that sustain us every single day, carrying the oorja of each element with them as they stepped into the new space. The children extended their thankfulness further to the team that envisioned the structure of their new groups, and the craftsmen, builders, and support staff who laboured to bring it to life. It was a gentle realisation that the new space was brought into being through the care, time, and energy of a larger Shikshantar ecosystem.
Returning their attention to their individual selves, the children placed flowers and their clay work, writings and drawings around the central Urli. Adding tangible pieces of their previous groups into this fresh beginning transformed the space into a living, breathing sanctuary energised by the hopes and dreams of our children.
Holding hands as they sang ‘तू एक धागा हम हैं मोती...’ the children felt the vibration and rising oorja of their newly formed group.
