Birthday Celebration- Shikshantar's 18th Birthday

The deep connection of Shikshantar community has always been displayed in its sense of growth, togetherness and love that shines and radiates energy to everything around! Assessing the readiness of our children at each step, being observant and mindful of their responses, identifying and acknowledging the challenges and together finding the answers; we took the journey of celebrating the Eighteenth Shikshantar Birthday on the virtual platform. Eighteenth year of Shikshantar - emotional maturity and a rounded and grounded sense of self, one that is progressive and is able to sustain independent thought and compassionate values. The theme for this year was 'f'k{kkarj vkSj ge'. Children of Primary School were immersed in experiences by connecting with their memories, people, and spaces in Shikshantar.  ‘What does Shikshantar mean to me? ’, ‘Where would my feet want to go?’- Creative Writeups, poems, art expressions, riddles, gup – shup, and a lot more creatives came alive. Culmination to the theme and Shikshantar Birthday was scheduled on Monday, 28th of September 2020.  Lighting the Diya together and celebrating it online with the Shikshantar family strengthened our belief in our philosophy.
