Thoughts, more thoughts, ideas, discussions, preparations, practices, run through and rehearsal; all this merged in the form of Hamara Manch for the children of Classes I - IV. The entire programme was divided into two sets of vertical presentations for the purpose of providing glimpses of experiences across the groups.
Colourful pillars standing tall at the entrance, spinning windmills strung together across the corridors and the lively backdrops were a reflection of children's involvement and participation at every step. Dance, music and drama presentations evolved from the experiences related to themes, stories and project activities taken up in the groups.
Soothing melody of the 'Sarasvati Vandana' trickled in the colours of joyous dance presentations and mingled with the essence of 'The Bark beetles - then and now'. There was humour and wit in 'Moments with Akbar and Birbal', wonder in 'The magical colours' and appreciation of silence in 'The kingdom of Hub bub'. Both the sets of presentations ended with the humming of the Shikshantar song.
The sharing and reflections of the Hamara Manch experiences will follow for many days in the coming weeks.
